Clueless Olympic Committee Drops Wrestling from the 2020 Olympics

Over the last several years, many people in the United States and the civilized world  have realized just how incompetent and overly corrupt the United Nations has become.

Well the International Olympic Committee is currently giving the U.N. a run for their money when it comes to being incompetent, clueless, and completely devoid of logic and a sense of tradition.

Beginning in 2020, the Olympic Games will no longer include Wrestling in its list of competitions, thereby dropping one of the three sports which helped originate the games themselves.

We all remember the Greek statues and Artwork depicting the ancient Greek warriors which came to symbolize Olympic competition.

The original Olympics included competition in three sports, Javelin throwing, Running, and Wrestling.

Other so-called sports such as Mountain Biking, Table Tennis, Equestrian, Golf, and over a dozen Canoe Races will remain; Wrestling will not.

You see, in an age where Corporate sponsorship, greed, and “seed money” are the rage, the bottom line is that huge companies such as Nike, Converse, and Titleist can sell millions more Running Shoes and Golf balls then Wrestling shoes and singlets.

In the meantime, Wrestling; a sport that’s spanned thousands of years, performed by men of integrity, dedication, and profound work ethic gets its walking papers along with hundreds of college hopefuls whose dreams need not include being an Olympic athlete.

After all, what does the current world need with people holding attributes such as those?
