The Interim Progress Report on the events surrounding the September 11, 2012 Terrorist Attacks in Benghazi Libya delivered a scathing indictment on the Obama Administration and it’s purposeful attempt to steer the public away from allegations of an organized Al-Qaida attack.

The report compiled by reports from five independent government intelligence agencies states:  “Specifically, after a White House deputies meeting on Saturday September 15, 2012, the Administration altered the accurate talking points to remove references to the likely participation of Islamic extremists in the attacks”.

The administration also removed references to the threat of extremists linked to Al-Qaida in Benghazi and removed the knowledge of at least eight other attacks in the region by Al-Qaida extremists.

The report showed memos that were sent directly to Hillary Clinton’s office from Ambassador Steven’s office requesting additional security and that the request was not acted upon.

This is a direct contradiction to the testimony presented by Hillary Clinton, who insisted that the security request never made it to her office and that the request was sent to and handled by underlings in her department.

What The Benghazi Report shows is that the Obama Administration has gone to extraordinary lengths to cover up the ongoing and persistent attacks on American’s from Al-Qaida Islamic Extremists.

On December 25, 2009, a Nigerian man attempted to light explosives placed in his underwear with the intention of blowing up a jet airplane bound for Detroit from Amsterdam. The Obama administration downplayed any Al- Qaida connection until the would-be bomber confessed as such.

The November 2009 Fort Hood shooting killed 14 and injured over 30 people. The shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan was an Army psychiatrist who became radicalized after viewing videos and reading countless diatribes from high level Al-Qaida leaders.  Hasan was shouting “Allah Akbar” while gunning down his victims, all of whom were American servicemen and women.

Incredibly, the Obama Administration ruled this crime an act of “workplace violence”.

When Obama first spoke to the American people following the Boston Marathon bombings, the first thing Obama insisted on was that no one should “rush to judgment” when speculating on who conducted the attacks.

The President also refused to use the word “terrorist”; an action, or should I say the word “inaction” that made an obviously weak leader look even more pathetic in pandering to the Islamic world.

The Obama Administration has willingly chosen to mislead Americans in either covering up or refusing to acknowledge that the United States is at war with Islamic Terrorism.

Obama’s “ostrich” act may or may not be criminally offensive….but it certainly is morally offensive.

As the result of the administration and federal law enforcements denial in acknowledging terrorist acts in this country, the request for Purple Heart Awards to be given to the 14 American servicepeople murdered in the Fort Hood shootings were Denied.

That’s quite a legacy Mr. President.
